Description
These Grinch Oreo Truffles are the cutest no-bake Christmas treat! Made with crushed Oreos, cream cheese, and a smooth green chocolate coating, they’re festive, easy, and perfect for parties, dessert boards, or gifting during the holidays.
Ingredients
Scale
- 36 Oreo cookies
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 12 oz white chocolate or green candy melts
- Green gel food coloring
- Red heart sprinkles
- Optional: 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Optional: 1/4 tsp peppermint extract
Instructions
- Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or rolling pin.
- Mix the crumbs with softened cream cheese until fully combined and smooth.
- Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a parchment-lined tray. Chill for 20–30 minutes.
- Melt white chocolate in short intervals until smooth, then tint with green gel food coloring.
- Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate, tapping off excess.
- Place on parchment and add a red candy heart to each truffle.
- Refrigerate until the chocolate coating is firm. Serve chilled.
Notes
Add peppermint extract for a festive mint flavor. Thin the chocolate with 1 teaspoon coconut oil for smoother dipping. Store in the refrigerator for up to 7 days or freeze up to 2 months. Let frozen truffles thaw in the fridge for best texture.
