This horse salt recipe for men is a simple, mineral-rich hydration drink designed to support energy, focus, and workout performance. Not a miracle cure — just clean electrolytes your body knows how to use.

- 12–16 oz filtered water
- 1/4 tsp Himalayan pink salt or sea salt
- 1 tsp raw honey (optional)
- 1–2 tsp lemon juice (optional)
- 1/8 tsp baking soda, food-grade (optional — do NOT exceed)
- Ice (optional)
- Optional upgrade: 1/8 tsp magnesium powder
Instructions
- Pour 12–16 oz of water into a glass or shaker.
- Add the mineral salt and stir until completely dissolved.
- Add honey and mix well (optional).
- Add lemon juice and/or baking soda if using.
- Taste and adjust — add more water if it’s too strong.
- Enjoy in the morning, pre-workout, or anytime you need hydration support.
Notes
Beginner version: Use only 1/8 tsp salt. Pre-workout version: Add honey + magnesium. Blue salt trick: Add a pinch of blue spirulina for color. Digestion-friendly version: Use a small amount of baking soda only (max 1/8 tsp!). Do NOT use non-food-grade salt. Not recommended if you have high blood pressure, kidney issues, or a low-sodium diet requirement.
