- ¼ teaspoon Himalayan pink salt (or sea salt)
- ⅛ teaspoon cream of tartar (for potassium)
- ⅛ teaspoon magnesium citrate (optional)
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice
- 1–2 drops stevia or ½ teaspoon raw honey (optional)
- Ice cubes (optional)
- Lemon slice or mint leaf for garnish
Instructions
- Combine minerals: In a glass or shaker bottle, add Himalayan salt, cream of tartar, and magnesium citrate.
- Add water: Pour in the cold filtered water and stir until the minerals dissolve completely.
- Flavor naturally: Add lemon or lime juice for flavor and vitamin C.
- Sweeten (optional): Mix in stevia or honey to taste.
- Serve cold: Add ice cubes, garnish with lemon slices or mint, and enjoy your refreshing homemade LMNT Salt drink.
Notes
For a sparkling version, replace still water with sparkling mineral water. Adjust salt levels based on taste or activity level. Try orange juice for a citrus twist, or unsweetened cocoa powder for a cozy chocolate salt flavor. Keep refrigerated for up to 24 hours. Shake well before drinking.
